Dear Chris and Staff of Baywind,
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all the help I received during my recent stay at Baywind. I spent 9 weeks there and actually had a good time. I made several new friendships and acquaintances that I will never forget. Everyone from the admissions office to nurses, CNAs, housekeeping and kitchen staff made me feel so welcomed and were never too busy to speak to me. The fact that everyone seemed to know me by name was astonishing. There is enough activity going on that it is hard to be bored and the variety is really good.
Your therapy departments, both physical and occupational, are just superb. Therapy was great - just to be around them because they all have so much fun and love what they are doing.
I am looking forward to my shoulder getting better so I can come back and work with your staff as a volunteer. There is a real love for the elderly among your staff and they definitely changed my view of Nursing Homes because they show that they care. I will be proud to recommend Baywind to anyone I know.
Keep the smiles and positive attitudes going and I will be visiting on a regular basis.
-Charlotte Smith

To all at Baywind,
I wanted to thank all for the loving care that you gave my mother, Dorothy Brooks.
It is very difficult to place a loved one in a nursing home, but you were wonderful at helping my mom and me adjust to the transition of care.
I could tell what good care she was getting by the way she would smile and wave to the CNAs, nurses and staff when they came into her room. Mom was with you for 3.5 years and I want to thank all for making Baywind her home.
Maria Green, Mary Gamble, Denise (both of you), Elizabeth, Hilda, Kathy and all nursing staff, thank you for always having time to listen and address my endless concerns about mom. You were a comfort to me more than you can imagine. I cannot forget Paul and Andres- you guys do a great job. Thank you to all in dietary who went out of their way to make sure mom had food she liked and could eat.
God Bless All,
Margie
