Residents and Friends of Joe,
As many of you have heard Joe passed away peacefully in his sleep early Saturday morning. We, his family will miss him as we know you will also. We would like you to know that he valued your friendship and having you all here made his time at Regency Village more pleasant. In a way you ladies and gents of the 500 hall have been as much like family to him as we have. You have shared many meals together, played Pokeno, exercised, celebrated holiday events and activities, laughed together and sometimes cried together. Joe resided here for four years, two months, and three weeks. The last few months his health was failing and he often said he wanted to go be with his loving spouse of over fifty years, Mary Lee Seeley. He is there now so we are happy for him but also know that you will miss your friend. Whether you knew Joe well, only saw him pass down the hall, or just recently met him, know that he did appreciate all the kindness you showed him while he resided here. Please be reminded of that and think of Joe when you smell your rose.
With Loving Appreciation,
The Seeley Family
My mother, Helen Coyle, has been in your facility since May 20th.
She and I have been very pleased by the care provided to her by the staff of Regency Village. She constantly mentions how caring and considerate the nurses and aides are.
Everyone has been kind and attentive. However, one individual, Patricia Sanders, has been a special source of warmth and consideration. She seems to have recognized that because of my mother’s age and injuries that my mother needed a little more attention to feel secure and at ease.
So again a special thank you to the staff of Regency Village.
Sincerely,
Arnie J. Coyle
Dear Regency Staff,
I nicknamed my mom “Big.” Not big in size, but big in demeanor and personality. She was amazing. She kept her pride and her love for life. She often wondered if she looked like she came from a nursing home. No way! She dressed up well. Life with her was never dull or boring. Thank you for caring for our mom over the years, listening to her stories and being tender and caring with her.
Sincerely,
Donna and Scott Kerr
